In 2009 Chelsea and Jasmine began handcrafting their candles using premium ingredients; vegan and non-toxic natural wax, lead-free wicks, and phthalate-free, cruelty-free custom blended fragrances. They hand pour every candle themselves, laughing and chatting away as they go. They work together to give each one a unique name that evokes its personality and style...and a little bit of theirs, too. They personally pack each and every order from their small studio in San Diego, ensuring every candle meets their ridiculously high standards. And they have fun doing it. Meet Jasmine

Hello! I’m a Southern California native and I cannot fathom living anywhere else: although traveling is what I love to do most! My background is in horticulture wholesale distribution and I love it when my memory can recall the Latin names of the genus and species of foliage. I am responsible for all things marketing for AURA. I really enjoy connecting with each of you on our social pages!

Hello, I’m Chelsea. My background is in personal finance and was in the industry up until I became a momma. I am passionate about healthy living, good music, and all things fragrance, enter Aura. Starting this business with my best friend Jasmine has been an (adventurous) dream. A few things I do around here are distribution, inventory, and customer relations.
